As far as neighborhoods go, we think you might enjoy The Fan, which is close to the venue. There are several hotel options in Jackson Ward. Or, if you want to go explore a little, try Church Hill (where we live!) or The Museum District.

Travel
Getting here
Fly into RIC (Richmond International Airport.) International travelers might consider flying into IAD (Washington Dulles International Airport,) though it’s about 90 minutes from Richmond if traffic is on your side.
If you’re on the east coast, Richmond Staples Mill Amtrak station sees about 20 trains a day and is worth considering.
Getting an Uber, Lyft, or cab to and from the airport or train station to downtown should be around $20–30.
Getting around
Richmond’s a little spread out, so you might want to rent a car if you’re staying the weekend. There will be a parking lot at the venue, and most hotels have valet parking for a fee.
You can get around without renting a car if you like walking or renting bikes, and all of our public transportation is free.
